Saint Paul Trois Châteaux

Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux is a delightful blend of historical richness and serene countryside beauty. Known for its picturesque streets and well-preserved medieval architecture, this small town offers a glimpse into the past with its ancient ramparts and the notable Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux Cathedral, which dates back to the 12th century. Montelimar

40 minute drive from the base
Montélimar, gateway to the south of France, where you can linger on a terrace in the shade of the avenues of Provençal plane trees.

It’s the capital of nougat, whose reputation has spread far and wide. A dozen nougat manufacturers offer a visit to their manufacturing workshops.

Avignon

60 minute drive from the base
City of history and entertainment, Avignon leaves no-one indifferent. The passage of popes in Avignon marked its architecture in a powerful way. Avignon is also the capital of the performing arts with its theater festival. It usually takes place between the 10th of July and the 5th of August. Nearly 120,000 spectators flock to discover young companies or to enjoy shows and actors with well established reputations who come from France and around the world.
